POLICE are appealing for information after $1500 worth of drugs were stolen from a Narre Warren pharmacy.
Thieves entered through the roof of Amberlee Park Pharmacy on Seebeck Drive some time between 8pm on 26 October and 8.55am on 27 October and disabled the alarm.
Police said pseudoephedrine drugs, which are typically cold and flu tablets, were stolen.
Detective Senior Constable Michael Harris said the worry with this incident was the thieves knew exactly what they were looking for.
“The medications stated are well known to be used by drug users and are an easy money earner for the offenders,” Det Sen Const Harris said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Sen Const Harris at Casey CIU on 9705 3114.
