A PLAYGROUND that was burnt down at Fountain Gate Primary School will soon be replaced with the help of a trash and treasure market this month.
The market, which will be held on election day, will allow people to purchase pre-loved items, or sell their own. Voters, stallholders and shoppers will also be able to fill up in a sausage sizzle at the special event.
Money raised from the inaugural trash and treasure market will help fund a playground at the school to replace one which was burnt down two years ago, and will help fund resources for students.
Anyone wanting to hire a site for the market can do so for $15 and by contacting the school on 9703 1187.
The trash and treasure market will be on from 8am until 6pm on 27 November at the Fountain Gate Primary School.
