Stick by our shops and win

SHOPPERS who let the world know they are ‘Proudly Pakenham’ could share in $1000 of prizes this month.
Locals who put a free Proudly Pakenham sticker on their car, and park in areas including the new temporary parking spaces around town could have their car pictured by a Star News Group photographer and published in the Pakenham Gazette and Pakenham News.
If you recognise your car, contact Cardinia Shire Council on 5945 0400 to claim a $50 voucher to be spent at any Pakenham retailer.
There are 20 prizes to be won, and a photographer will visit the car parks at a random time each week this month to take photos of cars sporting the sticker.
The scheme aims to encourage shoppers to support local traders during the Pakenham Marketplace (Woolworths) development in Treloar Lane.
Cardinia Shire Council has provided extra off-street parks on the corner of Henry Street and Cook Drive, corner of Henry and John Streets, and the P B Ronald Reserve.
A map showing the new and existing off-street car parking areas in central Pakenham is published in this edition of the News and is available on www.cardinia .vic.gov.au. – Jade Lawton
