Phone charges

FOUR youths were arrested last week after a spate of phone thefts in Casey over the past month.
The four were arrested in a stolen car at Oakleigh train station on Thursday after being involved in an armed robbery in Dandenong that morning.
It is believed the car, which was stolen early last week, had previously been sighted in Narre Warren.
The youths had been involved in a series of thefts recently in which they obtained phones by asking unsuspecting victims if they could use their mobiles because their own credit had run out.
One offender has been bailed, with the other three remanded until August.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
