Driver killed after hitting tree in Garfield

A man has died after his vehicle struck a tree in Garfield early Monday morning 2 December.

The crash occurred on Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Road shortly before 1.30am.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the male driver died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
