Doveton Tennis Club is holding activities as part of Casey Tennis Week between 29 January and 5 February 2012.FREE tennis activities in Casey next week are sure to be a smash hit with the locals.
The City of Casey, in partnership with a number of local tennis clubs, will serve up a week of fun tennis activities and events from Sunday 29 January to Sunday 5 February as part of the Casey Tennis Week.
City of Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said Casey Tennis Week provided an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to try tennis, view local tennis facilities and meet some of the people who run Casey’s tennis clubs.
“Tennis is a fantastic summer sport, and with the warmer weather now here, Casey Tennis Week provides both adults and children with the opportunity to try out tennis at a range of clubs throughout Casey,” Cr Aziz said.
City of Casey manager of Sport and Leisure Richard Amon said all of the activities and events, which Tennis Victoria supports through the supply of equipment and giveaways, were free of charge and included open days, social tennis, tennis sessions for mums and toddlers, kids’ tennis coaching and twilight tennis.
