JAMES Cook Primary School students had a free dress day and put their hair in wacky styles to help Victorian children in need.
The event on 18 November was organised by James Cook Students Representative Council (SRC) on 18 November to raise funds for State School’s Relief (SSR).
James Cook Primary School has supported SSR for many years, which is a charity for Victorian children in need of school clothing and footwear to actively participate in school activities.
Principal Kathy Sharp said it was a fun way for students to support a great cause.
“It was great to see the students at James Cook want to help others in need,” Ms Sharp said.
“The school was full of vibrant colours with students having fun showing off their hair and clothes”.
