A LYNDHURST man has died following a crash where his car caught fire in Doveton last week.
Police said about 11.40pm on 10 November, the man, 20, was travelling north on Power Road near the Monash Freeway when he allegedly lost control while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
His Nissan sedan collided with a Traffic Control Signal and caught fire. The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.
