LEADING trainer-driver Chris Lang waves to the crowd after champion trotter Sundon’s Gift won the race named after him at Melton, harness headquarters, on Friday.
And now Lang – and his star steed – are about to wave hello to trot-goers in this part of the world.
Sundon’s Gift is heading our way for the Cranbourne Trotters Cup on Saturday 2 July.
And don’t you think the officials at Cranbourne are rubbing their hands.
“It’s not every day you attract a $1 million-plus earner, a dual Grand Circuit champion and a two-time Inter Dominion winner,” Cranbourne Harness Racing Club chief executive David Scott said.
