YOUNG people from across the City of Casey stayed active and had fun during the school holidays.
The City of Casey held the Easter Teenage School Holiday Program between 11 and 21 April.
Catering for young people between the ages of 12 and 17, the Easter program ran weekdays and included fun, age-appropriate activities at reasonable prices.
City of Casey community services director Greg Wood said the popular program included activities such as ice skating, hip-hop classes, rock climbing, go-karting and laser force.
“Each school holiday we offer a wide variety of low-cost activities for young people, not only to alleviate the pressure for working parents to find alternative care for their children during holidays, but to also encourage young people to make valuable connections within our community and their peers,” Mr Wood said.
All City of Casey school holiday program activities are fully supervised by qualified council youth services officers, and are smoke, drug and alcohol free.
