Residents are involved in works including mechanical, woodwork, gardening and painting, and they are also able to participate in some of the workshops provided by Bunnings Warehouse Dandenong.
Community members and families of residents have donated car parts and old electric goods for use in the mechanical classes.
The development of the sheds will allow residents to enjoy projects and hobbies that were part of their lives pre coming to Chestnut Gardens, or develop new interests.
In order for the project to be completed, the ‘Shed Project’ needs ramps for easy access and equipment for the various sections.
