Women injured in two-car smash

A TWO-car collision in Doveton last Sunday left a woman with serious facial injuries.
The 20-year-old Hallam motorist suffered a fractured nose as well as lacerations and bruising to her face after her silver Nissan sedan and a black Holden Commodore collided at the intersection of Power Road and Paperbark Street.
A large crowd of onlookers gathered shortly after the crash occurred about 3pm.
Dandenong CFA rescue crews attended to help free the trapped woman from the vehicle.
Endeavour Hills Police Constable Jay Rooney said the driver of the Commodore, a 36-year-old Narre Warren woman, was transported to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries.
“We had numerous witnesses come forward on the day, but we are still keen to speak to anyone else who saw the incident,” Const Rooney said.
Anyone with any information can contact Endeavour Hills Police on 9709 7666.
