ENDEAVOR HILLS police held their inaugural Charity Golf Day at the Churchill Park Golf Course last Friday.
Organizer of the event Sergeant John Blackburn said he was pleased to report the day was a success.
“It was great to see the local community really get behind us,” Sgt Blackburn said.
“Local businesses donated goods and manpower that really helped the day run smoothly,” Sgt Blackburn said.
Sergeant Blackburn said that Charity Golf Day’s were not a normal occurrence at metropolitan police stations.
“Normally it’s something that the country boys put together but it was such a great day that we are looking to make it an annual event,” Sgt Blackburn said.
