A DOVETON man was attacked and robbed after withdrawing money from an ATM at Autumn Place last week.
The 35-year-old man had withdrawn a sum of money about 7.20pm on Tuesday and was returning to his car, where his girlfriend was waiting, when he was set upon by a group of men.
Three offenders, believed to be of Maori descent, dragged the man to the ground as he attempted to enter the passenger side of the vehicle.
The offenders stole the man’s money during the assault.
The victim received facial injuries during the attack and was transported to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
The offenders were described as being in their mid to late 30s, of thick build, and wearing black hooded jumpers.
Sergeant Ken Rich at Narre Warren Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.
Anyone with information is urged to call 9705 3111.
