IN AN innovative learning experience, Senior Master Charles Tsui-Po of the Golden Lion Academy visited the students of ICA Casey College last week.
The visit gave students the chance to experience the traditional Chinese martial arts of tai chi and kung fu.
Mr Tsui-Po volunteered his time to share his knowledge of the history of these two martial arts and demonstrated various moves after learning students at the college were studying the culture, history and traditions of old and modern China.
Staff at the college said that the visit and similar learning experiences were established so that students can generate their own desire and motivation to learn. – Melissa Meehan
