THE Special Operations Group arrested a 26-year-old man in Pakenham on Tuesday night in relation to a series of armed robberies.
Investigators from the Frankston Embona Task Force said the arrest was made following three armed robberies on various retail stores in the past 12 days.
Jeffrey Hanson was arrested at 6.40pm in Kinsella Court and has been charged with three counts of armed robbery.
Police also recovered an imitation firearm.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 11 November.
