FRESH fruit and vegetables were in abundance at the recent Rotary Club of Berwick Farmers Market.
The market was held in the gardens at Berwick’s Old Cheese Factory on 26 July.
The genuine Farmers Market has around 40 stalls, depending on the season, selling fresh produce, meats, jams, sauces, and chutneys from local growers.
The market attracted more than 1800 people from 8am to 12.30pm. Entry fee was a gold coin donation, with all of the money raised going back to the community through various Rotary projects.
The Farmers Market is held on the fourth Saturday of every month at the Old Cheese Factory, 34 Homestead Road in Berwick.
The next market will be on Saturday 23 August.
