GARDENERS can pick up a free water efficient trigger nozzle for their garden hoses in exchange for the old twist nozzles.
The free trigger nozzles are now available for Casey residents from water saver garden centres such as Cranbourne Country Garden Centre in Cranbourne South and the Squatting Frog in Narre Warren North.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley said the water efficient trigger nozzle giveaway followed the success of the previous program that provided 14,000 trigger nozzles to mark the introduction of stage three water restrictions.
“This is a great program that is very popular with local gardeners,” she said. Ms Graley is encouraging residents to get in early for the free trigger nozzles. All Victorian households are required to have a trigger nozzle fitted to their hose when watering their gardens.
