THE 4C’s (Cardinia Combined Churches Caring) is seeking volunteers to assist with its work in serving residents within Cardinia shire.
The Christian organisation provides crisis support for families in need within the community and offers services such as counselling, chaplaincy, financial supporting, no interest loans for whitegoods, emergency accommodation, budgeting and financial assistance.
The group also operates a major food relief program with links to Foodbank and Second Bite, organisations dedicated to tackling hunger.
4C’s allocates the majority of its budget to direct support and relies on volunteers to help run the centre five days per week.
Interested individuals who can help with administration, food preparation, food handling, storeroom assistance/maintenance or are simply passionate about contributing to the community and helping give practical support to those in need are asked to contact volunteers@the4cs.org.au or visit www.the4cs.org.au to sign up online.
